Radiohead Win Best Album Prize in Top Music Blog's Readers' Poll
NEW YORK, Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Acclaimed music Web site Stereogum.com (http://www.stereogum.com/) has released the results of its third annual year-end readers' poll for 2007. Best Album Gummy went to Radiohead's In Rainbows, released online by the innovative rock band two months ago for the price of "it's up to you."
Other notable outcomes, as determined by thousands of Stereogum readers' votes:
· -- The National's Boxer and Arcade Fire's Neon Bible took second and
third place, respectively, in a Best Album list dominated by
independent acts. · -- French DJ duo Justice ranked #1 in the Best Video category for its
animated "D.A.N.C.E." clip directed by Jonas & Francois. · -- Montreal collective Arcade Fire took top honors in two categories:
Best Live Act, and the less prestigious Most Overblogged (given to the
band voters were most sick of reading about). Readers also voted Amy
Winehouse, Deerhunter, and Kanye West among the most overexposed in
'07.
