Univision Radio Personality Carlucho to Preside Over 10th Annual Holiday Boat Parade

MIAMI, Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The Miami Outboard Club's 10th Annual Holiday Boat Parade will be helmed by several popular Univision radio personalities, according to Club Commodore Gonzalo Planas.

"We're very excited to have Carlucho as our Grand Marshall for this year's parade, and Yamilet Machin and Omar Moynelo as our Parade Ambassadors," Planas said. "In addition, Miami Mayor Manny Diaz is serving as our Honorary Chairman, and Miami-Dade County Commissioner Joe Martinez and City of Miami Commissioner Joe Sanchez will be our Honorary Co-Chairmen."

Nearly 100 boats are expected to take part in the Holiday Boat Parade, which starts at 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 22nd. The event is an integral part of the City of Miami's Holiday Magic celebration, which each year brings residents together for holiday events such as the Holiday Village, the Orange Bowl, the Major's Toy Drive and the Neighborhood Tree Lighting Ceremonies.

The Miami Outboard Club, founded in 1938 by a small group of Miami boating enthusiasts, is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization with approximately 580 members and a fleet of 350 powerboats. The club's purpose is the same today as it was nearly 70 years ago: furthering boating and all of its allied activities, and fostering friendship and fellowship among members, families, friends and the community at large.
