SEATTLE, Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- thePlatform, a leading "white-label" broadband video publishing company, announced today that it has been tapped by PBS KIDS Sprout as the backend video platform for the 24-hour preschool network's website (SproutOnline.com).

Sprout was created as a partnership among Comcast Corporation, HIT Entertainment, PBS and Sesame Workshop and is available on digital cable and satellite television to 35 million homes.
