M.A.C. Glamourises the Stars for the British Independent Film Awards 2007

to be the Official Makeup Sponsor of the British Independent Film Awards 2007
(BIFA) and was delighted to support the Best Actress Award at tonight's
ceremony at the Roundhouse in Camden, London.
The M.A.C. PRO Team spent the day working with some of the
leading British names in film to ensure they looked their best as they walked
down the red carpet for one of the most prestigious industry award
ceremonies.
Actress Kate Ashfield enjoyed a home make-up appointment from
M.A.C. trainer Rebecca Butterworth who created a soft smokey eye using
M.A.C. Liquid Liner in Blacktrack and M.A.C. Eyeshadow in Shroom on the
eyelids. M.A.C. Omega eyeshadow was also used to line the sockets. M.A.C.
Cherry Lip Pencil was smudged onto the lips with M.A.C. Venitian Lustreglass
on top for a 1940's inspired look. M.A.C. Select Tint and M.A.C.
Moisturecover concealor were used to create fresh and flawless skin.
Best newcomer nominee Kierston Waring was visited by Senior
Artist Martina Luisetti who used M.A.C. Select Cover up, M.A.C. Strobe
Cream and M.A.C. Invisible Set powder with a hint of M.A.C. Blushcreme for
healthy dewy skin. M.A.C.'s new Paint pot in Groundwork and M.A.C. reflex
in Teal were used to create smokey silvery show stopping eyes with M.A.C.'s
Fluidline in Blactrack as a liner. For extra effect, No. 33 lashes and
Zoomlash mascara were used along with M.A.C. Fleshpot lipstick.
Senior Artist Neil Young created a sexy, sultry look for best
newcomer nominee Imogen Poots. M.A.C. Face and Body Foundation was used
along with M.A.C. Select Moisturecover Concealor for pristine looking skin.
Both M.A.C. blushers in Ladyblush and Cherche created a splash of colour on
the cheeks while M.A.C. Paint Pot in Groundwork and M.A.C. bronze pigment
were used on the eyelids. Neil smudged M.A.C. Eye Kohl in Teddy into the
socket line whilst M.A.C. Eye Kohl in Smoulder was used on the upper lash
line. Lashings of M.A.C. Plushlash Mascara created full thick looking
lashes.
Archie Panjabi received the M.A.C. VIP treatment when M.A.C.
Pro Trainer Dean Rudd visited her home. To achieve her beautiful party look,
M.A.C. Mineralize Skinfinish, M.A.C. Strobe Cream and M.A.C. Select
Moisturecover concealor created flawless and glowing skin. Additionally,
M.A.C. blusher in Cherche added a hint of colour on the cheeks. For the
eyes, M.A.C. eye shadow in Sumptuous Olive, Honeylust and Freshwater were
used with layer-upon-layer of M.A.C.'s new Plushlash mascara in black.
M.A.C. Lip pencil in Spice and M.A.C. Lustreglass in Beaux were used to
create sexy glossy lips.
Lead actress from Brick Lane, Tannishta Chatterjee, enjoyed
her home appointment from Senior Artist Martina Luisetti. Using M.A.C.
Select Moisturecover concealor as a Foundation, the new M.A.C. Moisturelush
cream was dotted under the eyes. M.A.C. Blusher in Cheerful created rosy
cheeks whilst M.A.C. Eye Kohl's in Costa Riche and Smoulder were applied and
M.A.C. Fluidline in Blacktrack was pushed deep into the eye socket. For
added sex appeal, M.A.C. Reflects in Blackened Red and layers of M.A.C.'s X
Mascara were used with M.A.C.'s number 7 False Lashes. For the lips, M.A.C.
Plushglass in Plus Luxe was brushed onto the lips for the ultimate pout.
Actress Olivia Williams was glammed-up at home by M.A.C.
Senior Artist Neil Young who opted for an Audrey Hepburn style make-up. Using
M.A.C. Face and Body Foundation, M.A.C. Mineralized Skinfinish Powder in
dark and Peachykeen Blusher gave a bronzed flawless look to her skin. M.A.C.
eyeshadow in Vanilla and Bisc were blended and applied to the socket whilst
M.A.C. Fluidline in Blacktrack was brushed on as an eyeliner. M.A.C. Corner
lashes were used with extra lashings of M.A.C. Plushlash mascara for added
impact. M.A.C. Clear Lipglass was applied to her lips to create full sexy
lips to complete the look.
Singer Will Young was given the pampering treatment by M.A.C.
senior artist Martina Luisetti. M.A.C. Select Cover Up Concealor and M.A.C.
PRO Blusher in taupe was applied to keep him looking fresh and stylish all
night long.
Additionally presenter of the awards Jane Nesbitt received the
M.A.C. treatment with touch ups backstage also from M.A.C. senior artist
Martina Luisetti. M.A.C. Select Moisture Cover, M.A.C. Strada Blusher and
M.A.C. Brow Set in Show-off were applied to keep her looking fit for the
camera all night long
Winners and presenters leaving the stage received a M.A.C.
Deluxe Gift box to maintain their stunning red carpet look and for 'on the
spot, on the night' touch-ups, M.A.C. played host to its own make-up area
complete with artists so all the stars kept on shining at the M.A.C. BIFA
After Show party!
