Cablevision Adds The Korean Channel to iO(R) International Throughout New York Metropolitan Area

iO TV Now Features Approximately 60 International In-Language Channels, Allowing Viewers to Watch TV From Around the World in the Comfort of Their Own Homes

BETHPAGE, N.Y., Nov. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cablevision Systems Corp. (NYSE:CVC) today announced the addition of The Korean Channel (TKC) to the broad array of international programming available on iO TV, which now features approximately 60 channels from around the world, in 10 languages. The Korean Channel will be available to all subscribers of the iO International Korean Package, which currently includes MKTV and MBC.

The Korean Channel, a (24/7) Korean-Language programming service, is located on iO TV Channel 263 and will be available across Cablevision's entire service area. As the exclusive distributor of SBS (the first private nationwide commercial television network in Korea) and other Korean content in the Eastern United States, The Korean Channel is comprised of both SBS and TKCTV programming; news from SNS News and other bureaus around Korea and the world; contemporary and traditional dramas; entertainment shows; documentaries; and sports. Sports programming includes Korean Soccer team FIFA events, original golf programs and exclusive Korean language coverage of the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics.
