HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Nov. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- The world's best-selling multi-artist album series, NOW That's What I Call Music!, is well-represented on Billboard's charts this week with seven ranked volumes, including three titles among the overall Top 100 albums, three in the Top 40 of the Seasonal chart and one in the Top 20 of the Latin chart.
The three NOW volumes ranked in Billboard's overall Top 100 this week are NOW That's What I Call Music! Vol. 26 at #3, up from #4 last week, NOW That's What I Call Party Hits! at #85, from #60 last week, and NOW That's What I Call Music! Vol. 25 at #100, up from #103 last week.
NOW's three holiday volumes have all risen this week on Billboard's Seasonal chart, reflecting major sales jumps: NOW That's What I Call Christmas! Vol. 3 moves to #3 from #7 last week with a 91% sales increase, NOW That's What I Call Christmas! Vol. 2 pops up to #27 from #32 last week with an 85% sales increase, and NOW That's What I Call Christmas! Vol. 1 rises to #35 from #43 last week with a 104% sales increase.
On Billboard's Latin chart, NOW Latino 3 comes in at #12 for the week.
The NOW series' latest volumes, NOW That's What I Call Music! Vol. 26 and NOW That's What I Call Party Hits!, were both released on November 13. NOW 26 features 20 chart-topping Pop, Modern Rock, Rap and R&B smash hits and NOW Party Hits! celebrates with 20 of the hottest roof-raising tracks from a who's-who of today's top artists.
NOW That's What I Call Music! debuted in the United States in 1998. Begun in England 15 years before the series was launched in the U.S., the NOW brand has long been an enormous, multi-platinum international success. The U.S. series has sold more than 65 million copies and NOW continues to show its longevity and strength from release to release.
