News 12 Interactive is Available on Channel 612 Exclusively to iO(R) TV Digital Cable Customers
BETHPAGE and WOODBURY, N.Y., Nov. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cablevision Systems Corp. (NYSE:CVC) and News 12 Networks today announced the launch of a newly-enhanced News 12 Interactive channel, available as a free and exclusive service to iO TV digital cable customers on channel 612. The channel is now faster, easier to navigate with a cleaner and more functional design, and features more than 550 traffic cameras capturing current conditions throughout the tri-state, an "other regions" tab allowing users to get local news outside of their immediate area, and current live dual Doppler coverage for an accurate view of local weather.

News 12 Interactive, channel 612 is a free service for Cablevision's iO TV digital cable customers. Using Cablevision's advanced set-top box, iO TV customers can dig deeper into their local news experience with on-demand access to: local top stories, breaking news, additional video from stories seen on News 12, feature stories, archive material, local weather reports, school closings, local traffic information including live cameras from around the tri-state. News 12 Interactive also provides on-demand episodes of "The Challenge," the popular high school academic quiz show that airs on News 12.
