NEW YORK, Nov. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Conde Nast Media Group (CNMG), the Producers Guild of America (PGA) and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) announced today an all-star line-up of presenters for MOVIES ROCK - a two-hour live event and television special that celebrates the powerful relationship between music and movies by paying tribute to some of music's most iconic moments in film. Billy Bob Thornton, Charlize Theron, Cuba Gooding Jr., Danny DeVito, Emily Deschanel, Harrison Ford, Jenna Fischer, Jennifer Lopez, John C. Reilly, Josh Duhamel, Kate Hudson, Matthew Broderick, Quentin Tarantino, Rita Moreno and Shirley MacLaine will join an already star-studded line up of performers which include Beyonce, Carrie Underwood, Chris Brown, Sir Elton John, Eve, Fergie, Queen Latifah, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, John Williams, Marc Anthony, Mary J. Blige, Nas, Nicole Sherzinger, Tony Bennett, Usher and will.i.am.

The live event will take place at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles on December 2, 2007, and will air on Friday, December 7 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Conde Nast Media Group president Richard Beckman, PGA board members Kathleen Kennedy (Munich, Seabiscuit) and Bruce Cohen (American Beauty, Pushing Daisies) and Don Mischer of Don Mischer Productions (winner of 13 Emmys) will serve as executive producers. The Entertainment Industry Foundation will be a beneficiary of the project.
