KTSF's China Series Wins Five National and NorCal TV Awards
America's largest Asian-language broadcaster receives industry recognition for 'Under the Same Sky' series
SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- KTSF Television, the nation's largest Asian-language broadcaster, announced today that its "Under the Same Sky" series has won five prestigious industry awards and one Emmy nomination this year. The channel received its latest industry award on November 3 from the NorCal RTNDA (Radio and Television News Directors Association). The 2007 wins also include the Telly and the Northern California Chinese Media Association Award. KTSF received an Emmy nomination for Best Historical/Cultural-Feature/Segment for the "40 Years after the Cultural Revolution" special.
"Under the Same Sky" is developed by KTSF's Special Features Unit and spotlights original content shot on-location in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Broadcast throughout the San Francisco Bay Area market, the award-winning series offers a comprehensive, in-depth look at important topics that affect the global Chinese community.
