GSN Weeknight Series Marks Bernsen's First as a Game Show Host

Game Show Is the Ultimate Test of Nerves as Contestants Face Off Against Each Other and the Show's Signature 'Money Clock'

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Nov. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The title says it all as GSN's newest original game show tests the human nature of contestants against their appetite for greed on HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH?, hosted by Emmy and Golden Globe nominated Corbin Bernsen. Produced by BBC Worldwide America, HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH? features four contestants who compete against a "Money Clock" to win the most cash without being the greediest.

The new half-hour 40 episode series premieres Tuesday, January 8 at 9 PM ET and marks Bernsen's first time hosting a game show. HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH? will be on GSN Tuesday through Saturday nights at 9 PM ET.

In addition to hosting HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH?, film and television actor Bernsen also currently co-stars on the USA Network series "Psych." He is also well known for his starring role on the hit series "L.A. Law." Bernsen has starred in numerous television shows, series, and specials as well as feature films, including the "Major League" franchise and "Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang." He is President and CEO of Publicmediaworks, a media company engaged in developing "tailor made" entertainment content on all platforms.

HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH?'s format features four players going head-to-head in a test of strategy, psychology and nerve. The game is driven by the "Money Clock" that counts the cash available in each round. HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH?'s game play involves each player deciding when they should hit their secret buzzers and stop the countdown of the "Money Clock."

The game begins with five "Money Clocks" ranging in value from $1,000 up to $5,000. The players secretly buzz in each round as the amount of money is shown on the clock. They attempt to capture the second highest amount of money each time as the "greediest" player gets nothing in the first four "Money Clocks." In the final all important fifth "Money Clock," the two contestants who buzz in with the most and least amounts get nothing and the two players in the middle get to bank their money in that round.

The two players with the most money in their banks after the $5,000 "Money Clock" move on to the "Final Face-Off" and the two other players are eliminated. In the "Final Face-Off," the "Money Clock" starts from zero and counts up to the combined amount of the two player's total banks. The first player to buzz in wins that amount of cash on the final "Money Clock" and the greedier player goes home empty handed.
