RTN Acquires Broadcast Rights to Hip Hop Harry

LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Aug. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Retro Television Network (RTN), which is nationally owned and distributed by Equity Media Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ:EMDA), announced today that it has acquired the over-the-air broadcast rights for weekend mornings for the Emmy-nominated children's show Hip Hop Harry. Under the terms of the agreement, the network will air the program on Saturday mornings in all RTN markets, beginning in mid-September. Hip Hop Harry is produced by C to the B Productions.

Hip Hop Harry is a musically-based, live action program designed to entertain, educate and inform pre-school aged children. The program, which prides itself in creating social, emotional, cognitive, health, physical and creative experiences for its young viewers, received an Emmy Nomination this year for "Outstanding Pre-School Children's Series" and was a Parents' Choice Approved Winner in 2007.

Smith, AR; Las Vegas, NV; Lexington, KY; Little Rock, AR; Myrtle Beach, SC; Panama City, FL; Salt Lake City, UT; Savannah, GA; Spokane, WA and St. Louis, MO. The network recently announced that it will also launch in Raleigh-Durham, Pittsburgh and San Francisco this fall.
