First show to air Friday, September 7, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. with Michigan's foreclosure crises as the topic.
DETROIT, Aug. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Henry Baskin, Esq, of The Baskin Law Firm, PC (Birmingham, Michigan), and the Oakland County Bar Association have decided to air the legal issues of today on Detroit's longest running public affairs program Due Process, and announce the show will be broadcasted on WTVS-Channel 56 PBS Detroit Public Television on Fridays at 5:30 p.m., beginning on Friday, September 7th.
Due Process' first show will bring to focus Michigan's unusually high foreclosure rate with special guests: David Trott, Esq. of Trott & Trott, P.C. -- a law firm providing legal representation in residential mortgage foreclosures, bankruptcy and related matters, and is one of the largest firms in the nation conducting residential default procedures; and Nina Rodriquez, Director, Single Family Housing Development, Southwest Housing Solutions Housing Opportunity Center -- a member of Neighborworks Center for Foreclosure Solutions, an initiative created to preserve homeownership in the face of rising foreclosure rates.
Due Process' forty-week vivification will embrace topical events including: immigration, foreclosure, elder law, Social Security, divorce, wills and trusts, debtor creditor, health insurance, foreign trade issues, Veterans rights & benefits, privacy issues, bankruptcy, intellectual property, real estate, homeowners law, and more.

Every week, Baskin gathered a blend of attorneys and experts from the community to offer advice on legal issues, such as suing your contractor, filing a grievance against your landlord, understanding the rights of the elderly, child custody issues, drunk driving and patent law.
