Suzanne Vega to Perform on 'Live at 01' at Borders(R) Liberty Street Store in Ann Arbor

ANN ARBOR, Mich., July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Who: Suzanne Vega is a songwriter and singer known for her highly literate lyrics and eclectic folk-inspired music. Her 1987 surprise hit "Luka" on the CD "Solitude Standing" launched her into stardom. Vega's latest CD, "Beauty and Crime," is her first release in six years.

What: Vega performs songs from her new CD "Beauty and Crime" for "Live at 01" and signs copies of her CD. Radio station 107.1 will be broadcasting Vega's performance live to listeners and host Martin Bandyke will be on-hand to emcee the event.
