Scientists Discover Key to Manipulating Fat
In what they call a "stunning research advance," investigators at Georgetown University Medical Center have been able to use non-toxic chemical injections to add and remove fat in targeted areas on the bodies of laboratory animals. They say the discovery, published online in Nature Medicine, could revolutionize human cosmetic surgery and treatment of diseases associated with human obesity.
Investigators say these findings may also, over the long-term, lead to better control of metabolic syndrome, which is a collection of risk factors that increase a patient's chances of developing heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.

The Police Rank #1 as Nation's 'Most Requested Event' During First Half of 2007

Nielsen Reports That Romney Campaign Ads Outpacing All Other Presidential Candidates
The Nielsen Company says Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney placed more local T-V advertisements than all other candidates combined, with 45-hundred ads, mostly on local broadcast television, through June tenth. Nielsen Monitor Plus reported that traditional media started early this presidential campaign and that the local T-V ad trend is anticipated to increase. Since the two weeks beginning June eleventh, both Chris Dodd and John Edwards have run half of their reported T-V advertisements to date and Barack Obama began running T-V ads in Iowa on June 27th.
