Teletrax Bolsters Sales Force With Senior Hollywood and New York Hires

Experienced Sales Directors Will Further Company's Growth Strategy

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. and NEW YORK, June 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- In support of its expanding media and entertainment business growth initiatives, Teletrax, the global broadcast intelligence company, today announced the addition of industry veteran sales executives in the key Hollywood and New York markets. Lorelee Wiseman has been appointed Director of Sales on the West Coast, and Christopher Golden has been named Director of Sales and Business Development on the East Coast. Teletrax is a subsidiary of Medialink Worldwide Incorporated (NASDAQ:MDLK).

"The hiring of these two top-notch media and entertainment industry sales leaders signifies a major step forward for Teletrax in our sales and business development efforts," said Andy Nobbs, president of Teletrax. "Earlier in the year, we expanded our network and coverage area to include the top 210 television markets in the United States, and we have now increased our sales force on both the East and West Coasts. We are very pleased that Lorelee and Chris have joined our team and are looking forward to their contributions to the further progression of our business."

Based in Hollywood, Wiseman has more than 15 years of sales experience in the television and film industries and most recently has concentrated on the digital video media distribution market. She has proven success in evolving technical solutions through the exploration of untapped markets and extensive longstanding relationships with networks, studios and producers. Wiseman was previously the entertainment group director of sales for Pathfire, a digital distribution and video asset management solutions company where she was responsible for all television and studio sales of its video delivery service. She has also held positions at Vitac, a captioning and subtitling company, and Vyvx Broadband Media, an advertising distribution company.

In her new position at Teletrax, Wiseman will be responsible for sales and the further development of Teletrax's presence in the West Coast media and entertainment market. She will lead the development of Teletrax's entertainment accounts and initiate new business with leading film and television studio and distribution organizations.

Based in New York, Golden brings over 15 years of senior media and entertainment sales experience to Teletrax. Most recently, he served as vice president and group advertising director at The Hollywood Reporter, where he was responsible for all aspects of the advertising function for the East Coast sales office. He previously held senior sales positions at the New York Post and Chicago Tribune.

Golden brings an intimate knowledge of sales environments, industry trends and customer requirements, which will be used to spearhead his sales initiatives. At Teletrax, he will be focused on pursuing new revenue opportunities and also identifying business partnerships to help accelerate growth.

Teletrax offers the first and only digital video monitoring and content tracking service that provides vital broadcast intelligence on a global scale to video providers such as entertainment studios, news organizations, TV syndicators, and the advertising industry. Launched as a service developed by a joint venture between Royal Philips Electronics of the Netherlands (NYSE: PHG) and Medialink, with an underlying technology that is patent protected both by Philips and Digimarc Corp. (NASDAQ:DMRC), Teletrax's technology embeds an imperceptible and indelible digital watermark into video whenever it is edited, transmitted, broadcast or duplicated.

A global network of detectors then captures all occurrences of the embedded video being transmitted and generates tracking reports for the content owners. Reports of individual broadcast airings are delivered online in near real-time to each client's custom-designed portal or in data file transfers. Each client's broadcast activity is updated dynamically, 24 hours a day, enabling clients to respond immediately to reported results such as changes in end-user preferences or detections of unauthorized use.

Teletrax currently maintains a proprietary network of detectors that monitors the television broadcasts of nearly 1,500 channels from more than 50 nations including the top 210 markets in the United States, representing all measured U.S. television households. Its international network covers television stations across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia, South and Central America, and Canada.

Entertainment, news and media organizations both within and outside of the United States that also have contracted to use Teletrax for the tracking of news video, advertising or promotional content include ABC Television Network, BBC, CBS Television, Disney-ABC Domestic Television, Fox Broadcasting Company, NBC News Channel, The NBC Agency, NBC Universal Domestic Television, Reuters Television, Tribune Entertainment, United Nations, ITN Networks, Euro RSCG 4D DRTV, and Medialink. A number of other companies are also in active trials with the Teletrax service.
