Paige Hemmis of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Helps Launch Heroes at Home(SM) to Help Injured War Heroes and Military Families in Need

What: The launch of Heroes at Home, a charitable program of Sears
Holdings created in partnership with Rebuilding Together, the
nation's leading home rehabilitation organization, at the home of
Army Specialist Ryan C. Major, the first beneficiary of Heroes at
Home.

Specialist Major was critically injured in Iraq, resulting in the
loss of both legs and other injuries that will require extensive
surgeries. Beyond his injuries, Ryan was facing another battle to
regain his health and independence -- his home was not wheelchair
accessible, and he did not have the resources to make it livable.
Heroes at Home is helping this hero by providing a wheelchair
accessible bedroom, bathroom and elevator.

Donations to Heroes at Home are now being accepted at all Kmart
and Sears stores across the country, at sears.com and kmart.com.
