"Throughout the years, Bill and Hillary Clinton have exemplified incredible dedication and support for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation and it is an honor to have them join in celebrating our 10th anniversary," says Paul Cothran, Executive Director of the VH1 Save The Music Foundation.
Since 1997, Bill and Hillary Clinton have been vocal in their support of music education as an integral part of every child's complete education. Week" in 2000 and the celebrations of the restoration of music education to the Newark Public Schools in 2001 and Milwaukee Public Schools in 2002.
The evening's highlights will include headlining performances by Jon Bon Jovi and John Mayer, who can also be seen in one of The Foundation's newest public service announcements. Tim Gunn of Project Runway will also be on hand to emcee a live auction, which will feature one-of-a-kind items and experiences from VH1 Save The Music partners. Additional honorees, participants and attendees will be announced in the coming months.
