Michon Ellis Joins Creative Shop LimeGreen Productions

Former McDonald's Director of Global Communications to Lead Event Marketing Practice

CHICAGO, May 17 /PRNewswire/ -- After nearly eight years with the Golden Arches, Michon Ellis, 35, has departed the McDonald's Corporation to join Chicago-based LimeGreen Productions, LLC, a multi-media production and events management company, as a managing partner. Ellis will oversee the strategic direction of LimeGreen's event marketing and engagement division focusing on new business development and strategic alliances worldwide.

Prior to his new post, Ellis led highly successful marketing communications campaigns and events for the McDonald's Corporation, including the Olympic Games, Fifa World Cup Soccer, and partnerships with Grammy Award-winning music group Destiny's Child and the House of Blues.

Ellis has nearly 15 years of marketing communications experience developing strategies and directing the execution of national marketing communications programs and events for a diverse roster of companies ranging from health care, consumer goods, and philanthropy to quick-service restaurants. Among these include Schering-Plough Corporation, Coca-Cola Company, Kraft Foods, Inc., State Farm Insurance and Wendy's International, Inc.

Ellis graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in English Journalism. A Chicago native, he and his wife, Radiah, have two children.
