Jean Wiegman Named Vice President of Production for GSN

SANTA MONICA, Calif., May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Jean Wiegman has been named Vice President of Production at GSN. Wiegman has been independently producing television programming for over two decades covering a myriad of genres including game, documentaries, daytime talk and variety. The announcement was made today by Jamie Roberts, Senior Vice President of Programming at GSN, to whom she reports.

In this position, Wiegman supervises all aspects of physical production of series and specials. She is responsible for overseeing line producers, budgets and production logistics on such programming.

Wiegman's numerous production credits include such successful series as GSN's "I've Got A Secret," the award-winning "Mickey Mouse Club" and "It's A Miracle." She served as executive producer on the game shows "Trivia Unwrapped" and lifestyle programs "Rock Gardens" and "Cooking in Italy." On "Alf's Hit Talk Show," she was a co-executive producer and consulted on "The New Tom Green Show." She also was an executive consultant on the New York-based pilot of "Crossing Over with John Edward."
