Imperia Entertainment's 'Say it in Russian' Well Received at Cannes Market

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., May 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Imperia Entertainment, Inc. (Pink Sheets: IPEI) announced today that its newly completed feature film, "Say it in Russian," was screened on Sunday to a group of interested distributors and buyers, including from Germany, The United Kingdom, Denmark, Slovenia as well as a representative from Showtime. A reprise screening will be held at the Palais du Festival on May 25th to give more distributors a chance to attend. "We have already had interest from Slovenian and German buyers, which is very good, but our strategy at this time is not to sell to individual territories, but to obtain a solid distributor," said Patrick de Bokay, Producer's Representative. "We don't want just any distributor. It should be one with a passion for the film," said Jeff Celentano, Director. "We will be taking this film on a small festival circuit in order to create more of a buzz and attract just the right one, but that doesn't rule out the fact that we could find one here at Cannes, even on this short notice," he added.
