Deloitte 2007 Technology Fast 50 Rankings of Fastest Growing Tech Companies in Virginia

WHAT: Nomination Process Opens for Deloitte 2007 Technology Fast 50

Nominations are now being accepted for the Deloitte Fast 50, which
ranks the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and
life sciences companies in Virginia.

Two special categories this year include the "Deloitte Wireless
Fast 50," which ranks the fastest growing wireless companies, and
"Rising Stars," ranking companies that have been in business
between three and five years. Winners will be announced in October
2007.

HOW: Deloitte Fast 50 winners are selected based on percentage revenue
growth over five fiscal years (2002 to 2006). To be considered,
entrants must meet the following criteria:

-- Must own proprietary intellectual property or proprietary
technology that contributes to a significant portion of the
company's operating revenues or devotes a significant proportion of
revenues to research and development of technology. Using other
companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify. For the
Deloitte Wireless Fast 50, the technology must be wireless.

-- Base-year operating revenues must be at least $50,000, and
current-year operating revenues must be at least $5 million.
Companies are required to submit tax returns or audited financial
statements with their nomination to complete their eligibility.

-- Must be in business a minimum of five years.

-- Must be headquartered within Virginia. Subsidiaries or divisions
are not eligible, unless they have some public ownership and are
separately traded.

-- Companies may nominate themselves or be nominated by a third
party.

Special Categories:
Deloitte Wireless Fast 50. Deloitte will honor the 50 fastest growing
wireless companies in the world. Criteria is the same as the Fast 50,
except that the technology must be wireless.

Deloitte Rising Stars. Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 will also recognize
"Rising Stars," chosen from companies that have been in business a minimum
of three years but less than five years. Eligibility criteria are the
same as the Fast 50, except minimum operating history. Companies are
chosen based on percentage revenue growth over three fiscal years (2004 to
2006).
