ANN ARBOR, Mich., May 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Borders, Inc. is excited to partner with life coach and radio personality, Mel Robbins for an original, weekly, in-store talk series called, "Advice for Living with Mel Robbins." Robbins is a career advisor, life coach, and host on both the Sirius Satellite Radio's Lime Channel and AOL Coaches. She is considered one of the top life coaches in America having worked as a private coach since 2001 with individuals and businesses including such Fortune 500 companies as Johnson & Johnson, AG Edwards and Bank of America. The first "Advice for Living with Mel Robbins" will be taped before a studio audience Wednesday, May 2 at 5 p.m. in the Borders Downtown Crossing store in Boston. Appearing with Robbins on this inaugural program is Borders' guest, Liz George, a woman living in Philadelphia who gave up her dream of singing opera professionally.

Borders is delighted to arrange for Robbins to meet George in person for an on-the-spot life coaching moment during this special taping. While George has been coached on finding her dream during Robbins' call-in radio show, the two have never met. Along with Robbins' guidance, Borders is also surprising George with a professional voice coach, Ruth Falcone from the Metropolitan Opera, and an acting coach, Diana Soviero during the taping on May 2.
"We're thrilled to introduce Robbins' weekly talk series with such a special taping in our Boston Downtown Crossing store," said Michael Tam, chief marketing officer for Borders Group. "This is a unique opportunity for our customers to personally become acquainted with Robbins, participate in a lively discussion and return weekly to discover what other surprises we have planned during "Advice for Living with Mel Robbins."
Merging the online experience with Borders' in-store experience, members of Borders' Book Club submitted questions on www.Borders.Gather.com which Robbins will answer during the special life coaching session with George. The questions submitted ranged from what areas in life people need coaching to asking if it's too late to follow a dream. This interactive segment of the show will allow Robbins to connect with audience members who are also seeking career direction and encouragement to follow their dreams.
