Paradigm Expands New Media Division to New York With the Addition of Lydia Loizides

LOS ANGELES, March 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Paradigm has hired media and technology veteran Lydia Loizides as a vice president in its new media division based out of the agency's New York office. As a senior strategist, business development and product specialist, Loizides has developed and executed business initiatives for several of the world's largest media companies during her career, including AOL, Disney, CBS, Interactive Corp., News Corp. and Sony among others. Most recently Loizides served as vice president, Director, Media Technology with The Consumer Experience Practice at Interpublic Group.

"Lydia's leadership and past experience working with brands, advertising agencies and interactive companies will be invaluable for Paradigm as we develop opportunities for our clients in the new media marketplace," said Joel Wright who heads Paradigm's new media division. Loizides will continue to serve in her current roles as an Adjunct Lecturer, Center for Design, Digital Arts and Film School at New York University, Trustee of The National Academy Television Arts & Sciences, Executive on the Board of Governors of The National Academy Television Arts & Sciences, NY and Chairperson of the organization's Advanced Media Committee, NY that awards Emmys for excellence in advanced media. Additionally, Loizides will continue writing a weekly column, "Media Technology Futures," for Media Post that explores technology's impact on media.

Paradigm's new media division was launched in mid-2006 with Yahoo! Inc. veteran Joel Wright to bring a digital perspective to Hollywood's growing online interests. The division is responsible for pursuing opportunities throughout the lifestyle, entertainment and information genres, while working closely with agency colleagues to develop digital strategies for the motion picture, television, music, comedy and personal appearance clients. Recently the division announced a development deal with CBS's Innertube on behalf of its client Michael Cera to star, write and produce the online property's first scripted program.
