Oxygen Viewer Names Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott's Bed & Breakfast for Their New Reality Series
NEW YORK, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- "Chateau La Rue" takes the prize as the name of Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's bed and breakfast in their upcoming Oxygen reality series Tori & Dean: Inn Love. The new innkeepers chose the name submitted by Sarah Riggs of Coto de Caza, CA as part of Oxygen's recent online contest to give viewers the chance to name the B&B.
Spelling and McDermott revealed the inn's name at the grand opening gala today in Fallbrook, CA. For her winning efforts, Riggs, a 27-year old elementary school teacher, was flown out to the gala as a guest and was awarded a $2000 shopping spree. Spelling fans will recognize that the entry is derived from her pet pug's name, Mimi La Rue.
Famed actress, pop culture icon and mother-to-be Tori Spelling (Beverly Hills 90210) and her actor husband Dean McDermott are adding innkeepers to their resume this year when they open their own bed & breakfast in the new Oxygen reality series Tori & Dean: Inn Love. From the in crowd to innkeepers, the McDermotts head for the picturesque wine vineyards of southern California to invest Spelling's $800,000 inheritance into opening an inn. Partners in marriage and now in business, the couple will give viewers an intimate look at their new life as they try to balance the challenges and obstacles they face as first-time innkeepers along with the joys and stresses of preparing for their first baby.
The series premieres Tuesday, March 20th at 10:30pm ET/PT on Oxygen.
