Hearst-Argyle Sets Date for Annual Shareholders' Meeting
NEW YORK, March 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hearst-Argyle Television, Inc. (NYSE:HTV) announced today that it will hold its annual meeting of shareholders on Thursday, May 3, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time, in New York City, for shareholders of record as of March 16, 2007.
The meeting will be Webcast live in listen-only mode. Parties interested in listening to the Webcast can do so from the Company's Web site, http://www.hearstargyle.com/, in the "Investor Relations" section.
The Company also announced that the deadline for receipt of stockholder proposals in connection with the 2008 annual meeting is December 4, 2007.
Hearst-Argyle Television, Inc. owns 26 television stations, and manages an additional three television and two radio stations, in geographically diverse U.S. markets. The Company's television stations reach approximately 18% of U.S. TV households, making it one of America's largest television station groups.
