SILVER SPRING, Md., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- TLC has given a green light to an eight-part series starring international supermodel and activist Petra Nemcova. THE PETRA NEMCOVA PROJECT (wt) is being produced for TLC by 25/7 Productions in association with The Mottola Company. Dave Broome is the executive producer for 25/7, Tommy Mottola and Jeb Brien are executive producers for The Mottola Company and Sara Kozak is executive producer for TLC.
The series travels the globe in search of undiscovered model talent, who will be brought to New York to audition for potential contracts with NEXT Model Management. Petra Nemcova will serve as a mentor and friend to the prospective models, as they learn the business of fashion and modeling. Using her own life experiences, Petra will advise the models on how to succeed in the fashion industry, and will also underscore the importance of having a well-rounded life, including giving back to communities important to each of them. NEXT will ultimately determine how many of the models deserve a contract with the agency.

Stunning supermodel, Petra Nemcova has taken the fashion industry by storm since she was crowned cover girl of the highly anticipated Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue in 2003.
