'Eloise in Hollywood' Will be Released on DVD March 13

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Feb. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Starz Kids & Family, the exclusive TV home of the beloved animated "Eloise" series, will present a special airing of "Eloise in Hollywood" with an exclusive look at the popular series featuring interviews with Liza Minnelli, the godchild of creator Kay Thompson and inspiration for Eloise and Mary Matilyn Mouser, who provides the voice of "Eloise," on Sunday, March 11 at 6 p.m. (ET/PT). "Eloise in Hollywood" will be released on DVD March 13.

In "Eloise in Hollywood," Eloise's mother can't make it home to The Plaza so she sends Eloise and Nanny on an exciting trip to Hollywood to visit a movie set. When spoiled child star Debbie Dunbar is fired from her film, Eloise ends up with the starring role but soon realizes Hollywood stardom isn't all it's cracked up to be. Voiceover guest stars include Emmy(R) Award winner Cynthia Nixon, Lacey Chabert, Alan Cummings and Nestor Carbonell.

The "Eloise" series and DVDs are produced by Film Roman, a Starz Media company, in association with Handmade Films, "Eloise" features the star-studded voice talent of two-time Oscar(C)-nominee Lynn Redgrave, Tim Curry, Matthew Lillard, Curtis Armstrong, and Mary Matilyn Mouser as Eloise. Wes Archer directs.

"Eloise in Hollywood" and the series special will air again on Saturday, March 17 at 6 p.m. (ET/PT). "Eloise" airs exclusively on Starz Kids & Family and is also available on Vongo, Starz Entertainment's broadband video download service.

Starz Home Entertainment will release "Eloise in Hollywood" in stores across the country on Tuesday, March 13 (pre-order date Wednesday, Jan. 31). The first two installments of the "Eloise" series, "Me, Eloise" and "Eloise: Little Miss Christmas," were released on DVD in October, 2006.
