New Album, BACK IN TOWN, In-Stores April 3rd on Universal Music's Decca Label Disc Showcases Classic Love Songs from The Great American Song Book as Well as Original Material
NEW YORK, Feb. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Fresh off the heels of his spectacular international tour, 28 year-old recording artist, and Juno Award nominee, Matt Dusk returns to the U.S. this spring in support of his new CD, BACK IN TOWN, available April 3rd on Decca/Universal. Excited about the release of his new album and upcoming tour with Patrizio, Dusk says, "I am looking very forward to touring with him. This is a situation where the audience will get two shows for the price of one. Being paired with a musical talent like Patrizio is an honor and I can't wait to get this show on the road!"
Record label executives learned of Matt's talent and after a bidding war was signed to Decca/Universal. Prior to signing with Decca, Dusk recorded three independent albums before releasing his major label album, TWO SHOTS, which was certified GOLD in his native Canada, and released in 2004. He is currently on Donald Trump's "Apprentice" soundtrack, singing the classic song, "For The Love Of Money," by the O'Jays. Amazingly, Dusk was the only original artist chosen for this album and is in the company of his idols, Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin.
In addition to his album releases, Matt was recently featured in Weekly Scoop (Canada's celebrity, style and entertainment magazine) who voted Dusk as one of the 21 most beautiful people in Canada. He was recently asked to be the headliner at this year's Sarasota Film Festival's opening gala, in Sarasota, Florida, and will be performing there on April 13th. Additional activities/performances will be announced soon.
