Hollywood's newest protege-transplant from down-under, has in one short year turned the documentary film community on its head with his amazingly captivating storytelling skills -- so much so that it has now caught the eye of Oprah herself. Heriot, 26, has been directing primetime documentary dramas for all of the major networks in Australia since 2003. His debut feature, The Secret (2006), has been hailed by critics as one of the most important films ever made and since its release has become a global phenomenon. The Secret opened the Reno/Tahoe International Film Festival 06 and was featured on two Larry King Specials, The Ellen Degeneres Show and now Oprah.

Heriot's unique style is the result of his passion for creating stories that take audiences to the edge of human experience. Drew has just embarked on his latest endeavor: Elevate Films, a full service production company and film festival.
