Georgia Consumers and Businesses May Soon Have Cable Competition
National Black Chamber of Commerce urges legislators to support consumer choice
WASHINGTON, Feb. 2 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- This week Representative Jeff Lewis introduced HB 227, the "Consumer Choice for Television Act" in the Georgia House of Representatives. This bill would reform the process of video franchising in Georgia, paving the way for new entrants into the market and giving more choice to consumers.
