Sundance Channel Second Life Screening of Four Eyed Monsters Set for Jan. 9 at 8pm EST

Event To Be Held in Sundance Channel Screening Room in Second Life

NEW YORK, Jan. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Sundance Channel announced the screening of the independent feature film Four Eyed Monsters is set for Tuesday, January 9 at 8pm EST in the Sundance Channel screening room in Second Life. Following the screening, the filmmakers Arin Crumley and Susan Buice will be on hand for a question and answer period from the audience. Live feeds of the event will also be presented from other Second Life locations. More information on additional locations can be found on www.sundancechannel.com/secondlife.

Nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards (Best Cinematography and the John Cassavetes Award), Four Eyed Monsters chronicles the relationship of Susan Buice and Arin Crumley. Buice and Crumley met online in 2002 and as an experiment, decided not to speak in person. The result was a collection of notes, drawings and short videos they made for each other that serve as the inspiration for the feature film. Buice and Crumley have pioneered new strategies for independent film distribution through digital technology and have built up a loyal fan base through online tactics such as podcasts, custom Google maps and Second Life.
