LOS ANGELES, Jan. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Red Rock Pictures Holdings, Inc., (the "Company"), is a full-service film development, production, and financing company based in Los Angeles, California.
Red Rock Pictures Chief Executive Officer Robert Levy is leading a team whose principals have been involved in more than 50 feature length films, including "Wedding Crashers" (which generated over $200 million at the domestic box office), "Malibu's Most Wanted", "National Lampoon's Van Wilder" 1 & 2, "The Wedding Planner", "Big Momma's House 2", "Serendipity", and "Point Break". They have also been active in the lower budget direct-to-video industry with the Mary-Kate and Ashley (Olsen) direct-to-video projects.

Robert Levy, Chief Executive Officer: Mr. Levy has written and/or produced motion pictures for over 30 years and has been a principal partner in Tapestry Films for over 20 years. Levy attended University of California at Los Angeles and the American Film Institute. Mr. Levy has recently produced the following films: Wedding Crashers, Employee of the Month, Underclassman, Serendipity, The Wedding Planner, National Lampoon's Van Wilder 1 & 2, and She's All That. He also executive produced and wrote the story for the Burt Reynolds classic, Smokey and the Bandit.
Barry Layne, President: Mr. Layne works in concert with company Chairman and CEO Robert Levy in all aspects of development, acquisitions, production, financing and distribution of motion pictures. Mr. Layne has held a number of executive roles with companies in all aspects of the media, entertainment and new media/Internet industries, including Chief Operating Officer of ASG Entertainment; corporate senior vice president for About, Inc. (since sold to the New York Times); marketing, programming and production head of Internet pioneer FasTV, Inc.; lead Internet executive for Cendant Software and its divisions; and Ketchum Communications Worldwide (now part of Omnicom), where beginning in 1994, he established the agency holding company's diverse operations in entertainment and interactive media. Formerly the New York bureau chief of The Hollywood Reporter, he's also been the internet and multimedia industries consultant to the California Governor's Office of Strategic Technology; entertainment, content and business development advisor to GTE (now Verizon). Prior to joining Red Rock, Mr. Layne served as Executive Vice President of National Lampoon, involving in the development and management of its media and entertainment business.
Daniel S. Laikin, Director: Mr. Laikin is currently Chief Executive Officer of National Lampoon, Inc. (AMEX:NLN), a media and entertainment company that creates and distributes comedic content through a number of platforms, including the National Lampoon Network. He has been a director of the company since 2000 and was employed as Chief Operating officer from May 2003 until February 2005 when he became Chief Executive Officer. Until 2000, Mr. Laikin served as Co-Chairman of Biltmore Homes, Inc., and Indiana-based home building and real estate development company. He also served as a managing partner of Four Leaf Partners, LLC., a closely held investment company, concentrating on the startup and financing of high tech and Internet-related companies.
Reno Rolle, Director: Mr. Rolle has held the position of CEO Shop America USA and Executive Advisor, TruStar Global Media (TSGM). Based in Bradford England, TSGM owns and controls the Golf Channel UK in partnership with Comcast Corporation (NasdaqNM: CMCSA) and Golf TV Proshop, a 24/7 golf products shopping network. TruStar also owns Shop America USA, an informercial marketing company operating in the U.S. Shop America USA specializes in both long and short-form direct response television programming. Mr. Rolle co-created the hit book and informercials for "Natural Cures "They Don't Want You To Know About". As of this writing, Natural Cures has been # 1 on the NY Times Best Sellers List for 16 weeks, sold in excess of 5 million copies and is widely considered the best-selling self-published book of all time. Between 1997 and 2001, Mr. Rolle was the co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Synergy Worldwide, Inc., a product engineering, design and marketing company. Conceived in 1997, the firm quickly garnered considerable industry recognition for its cutting edge new product technologies and prescient assessment of consumer trends. In 1999, Synergy produced "Mastering The Flow", a blackjack card counting program that became the longest running, most successful gaming informercial ever.
John Whitesell, Director: Mr. Whitesell has directed and produced television and feature films for almost 20 years. He is currently in post-production on "Deck the Halls", starring Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick. Mr. Whitesell has directed a number of major feature films including "Big Momma's House 2" starring Martin Lawrence, "Malibu's Most Wanted" starring Jamie Kennedy, Taye Diggs, Anthony Anderson, Ryan O'Neal and Blair Underwood, "See Spot Run" also for Warner Brothers, starring David Arquette and Michael Clark Duncan, and "Calendar Girl" starring Jason Priestley and Joe Pantoliano. Mr. Whitesell was also active in television directing and producing. He directed and produced over 200 episodes of primetime television including "Roseanne" "Action" and "Jack and Jill". He also directed many television pilots including "Grounded for Life", "The John Larroquette Show", "Damon", "Cosby" and "Law and Order". Mr. Whitesell started his television career in daytime television. He was a director and executive producer on the soap operas "Search for Tomorrow" and "Another World" and he won an Emmy for directing "Guiding Light". Mr. Whitesell graduated from Simpson College in 1976 and trained in theatre at Circle Square in New York City and at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.
Tom Daniels, Distribution: In 1995, Mr. Daniels co-founded and became CEO of MediaWorks International, a company that served the worldwide feature film, television, and video distribution industry. They also worked closely with such clients as Sony, BMG, Trimark Pictures, World International Network, National Geographic, Golden Films and many others. They generate output deals (pre-sales) of up to 100 movies titles on behalf of World International Network in over 12 major European and Asian countries, generating over $120 million of production.
The company will focus primarily on modestly budgeted films, a financially attractive film segment. Management has historically outperformed both this segment and the industry overall.
