Intel Capital Leads Series C Investment

SAN DIEGO, Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Vativ Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of innovative DSP-based semiconductor solutions for the digital television market segment, announced today that Intel Capital has led a $10-million round of funding to accelerate adoption of Vativ's world-class HDMI(TM) receiver components into the Digital TV market segment.

All the existing investors, Redpoint Venture Capital, Mission Ventures, InnoCal Venture Capital, Forrest Binkley Brown, and the Viterbi Group, also participated in the latest round of financing bringing the total investment in Vativ Technologies to $37-million.
