LAS VEGAS, Nov. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- . Embarq Corporation (NYSE:EQ) announced today that EMBARQ(TM) Dial Me! Tunes(SM), a new service that allows landline phone customers to purchase and download unique ringers for their callers to hear, is now available in Southern Nevada.

EMBARQ(TM) Dial Me! Tunes(SM) is another innovation from EMBARQ that builds on the popularity of personalized ringers by allowing individuals to replace the standard home phone ring tone their callers hear with a personalized audio clip including music, jokes or inspirational sayings. Customers can customize ringers based on who is calling, time-of-day, day-of- week, holiday, birthday and more.

EMBARQ is the first communications company in the United States to offer its home phone customers a ring back tones service.

For a monthly recurring charge of $3.99 for one ringer, customers can choose from thousands of tunes. Additional ringers can be purchased from embarq.com for a charge of $.99 to $1.99 each, depending on the type of audio clip. Clips expire 90 days from the purchase date. Customers will need access to the Internet to manage their account and to order additional ringers.

Customers can call 702-254-5454 to hear a sample of EMBARQ(TM) Dial Me! Tunes(SM). Customers calling this local number will hear tunes from the jukebox feature, an optional tool which allows users to rotate songs so each caller will hear a different tune.
