Mobliss Launches the 'Deal or No Deal' Mobile Game
Top-rated television game show 'Deal or No Deal' is now available to play in the palm of your hand.
SEATTLE, Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Mobliss, a leading provider of mobile media and entertainment, and Endemol USA announced the launch of "Deal or No Deal", the season's most highly anticipated mobile game, available today on networks nation wide. Timed with the fall launch of the hit game show on NBC, casual gamers and hard-core fans alike are called upon to answer the question, "Deal, or No Deal?" This all-new game will allow fans to test their luck against The Banker while on the go.
"We're excited to be bringing the 'Deal or No Deal' mobile game to consumers because we feel 'Deal or No Deal' is a perfect match for mobile devices," said Jim Merrick, President and CEO of Mobliss. "'Deal or No Deal' offers a very simple concept that makes it accessible to a wide range of players who want to test their strategy -- and their luck -- against the banker to try and find the suitcase that contains the million dollars. Now fans of the show are able to try and beat the banker anytime, anywhere."
"With so many fans of the show text-messaging to play the Lucky Case Game, it only made sense to bring the entire 'Deal or No Deal' experience to the mobile platform," said Jon Vlassopulos, Vice President, Business Development, Digital Media and Strategic Planning, Endemol USA. "At Endemol USA we are always seeking new and innovative ways to get our content to consumers, and this is another strong step in that direction for us. We are excited to team up with Mobliss for this project and are confident that fans of the show will enjoy playing the mobile version of this hit show on their cellular phone."
Developed and published by Mobliss, "Deal or No Deal" is the mobile game that mirrors the top-rated television game show in the country. Gamers are asked to choose a briefcase that contains a random monetary amount between $.01 and $1 million. As each round in the game progresses, players must either stay with their original briefcase or make the choice of "Deal or No Deal", where they will either accept the banker's offer or test their luck with the hope that their original case holds the $1 million. Once a player decides to accept or decline the bank's offer, the game is over.
"Deal or No Deal" offers endless entertainment options for anyone interested in engaging mobile content, and is currently available for download as either a monthly subscription or a one-time purchase through networks nation wide. For more information and to download the game, visit your carrier's website or mobile storefront.
