Lyons Named VP Finance & Administration for Scripps Interactive Media Division
CINCINNATI, Oct. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Douglas F. Lyons, who has guided The E. W. Scripps Company's corporate financial reporting operations for more than a decade, has been named vice president, finance and administration, for Scripps Interactive Media, effective immediately.
Scripps Interactive Media includes the company's rapidly growing Internet- based search businesses, Shopzilla and uSwitch.
Lyons will be responsible for coordinating the interactive division's budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes.

Lyons, 49, has held various financial management roles at Scripps since joining the company in 1985. Since 1992, he has been the company's director of financial reporting. He previously had served as assistant corporate controller.
Before coming to Scripps, Lyons was an audit manager for the accounting firm Deloitte, Haskins & Sells, now known as Deloitte & Touche.
Lyons, a certified public accountant, is a 1979 graduate of the University of Dayton, where he earned a bachelor's degree in accounting.
