Condista Announces Affiliate Marketing Campaigns With Comcast and Charter to Promote HTV, TeleFormula and Video Rola in Four Markets

MIAMI, Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Condista, the premier Spanish-language cable TV programming aggregator in the U.S., today announced affiliate marketing campaigns involving three Spanish-language cable networks and two different cable operators in four different markets. TeleFormula and Comcast have launched a campaign in Albuquerque; HTV and Comcast have launched an acquisition promotion in South Florida; and Video Rola and Charter have announced campaigns for Ft. Worth and Central California.

TeleFormula, a Mexican-focused news network, launched on Comcast's Cable Latino package in Albuquerque on September 25. TeleFormula is a Mexican-based news and talk cable channel owned and operated by RadioFormula, the largest radio group in Mexico. TeleFormula employs some of the best known talent in the news genre in Mexico and provides top quality content covering a full range of issues: news, sports, politics, women's issues and entertainment. In Albuquerque, TeleFormula purchased an eight week schedule of both outdoor advertising and radio spots to promote its launch on Comcast's Cable Latino. The largest campaign in two years for Cable Latino includes ticket give-aways for Pepe Aguilar and Juan Gabriel concerts. To date the campaign has generated twice as many new subscribers during the same period last year.

HTV, the 24 hour Latin music channel owned by Claxson, announced a 'gift with purchase' acquisition campaign in partnership with Comcast of South Florida. The first 2,000 customers who subscribe to Comcast's Cable Latino package before November 18 will receive a free Juanes CD. The campaign will be communicated to residents through HTV designed direct mail pieces and HTV produced bilingual cross channel commercials. HTV is unlike many other Latin music television channels in the United States today: it is the only channel that successfully integrates all Latin musical culture in one venue, 24 hours a day. HTV's approach is based on 100% Latin programming which combines top music videos and interviews with the most popular Latin artists, covering the widest-possible spectrum of Latin music genres, including pop, Latin rock, reggaeton, salsa, merengue, bachata, cumbia, and regional Mexican. It also features today's most popular crossover hits.

Video Rola, a Mexican-based network featuring Regional Mexican music videos, artists interviews, concerts and more, announced two separate acquisition/upgrade campaigns with Charter Communications. One campaign is in Ft. Worth, Texas and the other is in Charter's North/ Central California region that includes Turlock, West Sacramento and San Luis Obispo. Both campaigns offer residents of the markets the opportunity to win a pair of Mexicana Airline tickets good for anywhere Mexicana flies in the US and Mexico. The Video Rola offer in North/Central California will be communicated via seventeen radio remotes and other community events. In Ft. Worth, the offer will be communicated via a series of tactics: Video Rola designed bilingual cross channel commercial, print ad, direct mail postcard, door hanger and flyer. The campaign is scheduled to run from October 23 through December 31 in both markets.
