CHANNELS (Just Completed) - 'An Unconventional, Innovative, Utterly Romantic movie!'

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Says who? Remember "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" head writer, Ann Marcus? She comes out swinging, putting her money on a movie she believes in.

For a total budget of under $196,000, CHANNELS (a philosophical romantic comedy) was written, produced and directed by Nat Christian, and made in just 18 days.

After reading through nearly a hundred screenplays (action, horror, thrillers, etc), Ann Marcus (Emmy Award-winner for "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman"; producer of hit TV shows, etc., and grandmother/great-grandmother of 10) dug into her purse and financed CHANNELS out of love for the story.

A truly independent movie, CHANNELS stars Kim Oja, Nat Christian, Ed Asner, Joan Van Ark, Taylor Negron, John Kassir, and a group of talented actors.

All worked for ultra low budget wages because they believed in CHANNELS, a love story.

CHANNELS just completed post-production, and Olliewood Films is already getting inquiries from interested distributors and film festivals.

Could this touching movie about a man, whose career is about to take off in a big way but is still emotionally dead until he meets the love of his life, go all the way?

Our hero has dreams of a passing train, representing "time" passing by, with an image of himself hesitating to hop on it. Through a "fantastical" incident, he falls in love with a woman. He comes alive. She experiences the same real magic. She trusts her instincts, her heart, and is willing to seize the moment of opportunity and defy the natural logic of things. She wants to hop on the passing train of time with him. He lets his mind rationalize, his logic prevails and he pauses. But then he decides, like her, to seize the moment. The pause was too long. Time doesn't wait. He loses her and tries to get her back. But is it too late?

Olliewood Films, Inc., the production company, is a new venture formed to produce quality screenplays.
