Bloomberg TV Adds to its Spanish-Language Business Programming

Intercambio Bloomberg Debuts Thursday, October 12

NEW YORK, Oct. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Bloomberg, the leading global news, data and analytics provider, today announced the launch of a new 30-minute Spanish-language program, "Intercambio Bloomberg," that will air weekly on the BLOOMBERG TELEVISION(R) Latin America service, giving its viewers in Latin America a weekly lineup of one-on-one interviews with top US and Latin American newsmakers. Produced at Bloomberg's New York headquarters, Intercambio Bloomberg will air on Thursdays at 9pm, beginning Thursday October 12, and repeat at 10:30pm and 11:30pm ET.

The BLOOMBERG TELEVISION Latin America service brings Bloomberg's high-quality global television content to Latin American viewers with a Spanish language data screen. During May BLOOMBERG TELEVISION added the daily Reporte Financiero, the first Spanish-language program on BLOOMBERG TELEVISION Latin America. The addition of Intercambio Bloomberg will further enhance the service for the Spanish-speaking audience, featuring interviews with market movers and shakers from Latin America and Wall Street. Some recent exclusive interviews on the BLOOMBERG TELEVISION Latin America service have included Evo Morales, Bolivian President; Jose Luis Machinea, General Secretary of the United Nations' Economic Commission on Latin America and the Caribbean; Hernan Martinez, Colombian Energy Minister; Luis Ramirez Corzo, Pemex CEO; Fernando Canales, Mexican Secretary of Energy; Gustavo Roosen, CA Nacional Telefonos de Venezuela CEO and Mohammed Barkindo, OPEC Acting Secretary-General.
