NEW YORK, Oct. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Nick Jr. will celebrate Halloween during the Haunted Halloween week with new episodes of preschool favorites The Backyardigans, The Wonder Pets!, LazyTown and Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! The four new, spooktacular adventures will premiere every day from Monday, October 23 through Thursday, October 26, at 12:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nick Jr. Each new episode will repeat on October 31 in a Halloween marathon (9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., ET/PT), which also includes episodes of preschool hits Dora the Explorer, Go, Diego, Go! and Blue's Clues.

Nick Jr.'s Haunted Halloween premiere week schedule is as follows (all times are ET/PT):

Monday, October 23, 12:00 p.m. -- The Backyardigans "Monster Party"

Mad Scientist Tasha sends her humble assistant Austin on a journey to bring three monsters back to her laboratory -- Mummy Tyrone, Werewolf Uniqua, and Vampire Pablo. What Austin doesn't know is that a big surprise birthday party awaits him when he gets back.

Tuesday, October 24, 12:00 p.m. -- LazyTown "Haunted Castle"

The Mayor warns the kids to stay away from an old, unsafe castle but Trixie ignores the warning and convinces the kids to join her inside. Meanwhile, Robbie poses as a ghost to scare the kids into not playing anymore. The kids get trapped in the falling castle and Sportacus arrives to save the day. Trixie admits what she did and the kids learn a valuable lesson in following the rules.

Wednesday, October 25, 12:00 p.m. -- The Wonder Pets! "Save the Black
Kitten/"Save The Yak, The Pig and The Dancing Bear!"

On Halloween, The Wonder Pets, dressed for trick-or-treating, get a call from a black kitten trapped inside a haunted doghouse. Also, The Wonder Pets travel to a county fair where a performing animal trio have wound up floating away in a hot air balloon.

Thursday, October 26, 12:00 p.m. -- Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! "Monster Madness/The
First Last Leaf"

Wubbzy is scared by a TV show and can't sleep because he sees monsters! Widget tries to comfort him and builds a Monster Masher machine to get rid of the monsters. Wubbzy's fear is contagious and Widget soon sees monsters too. Walden shines his flashlight to show the monsters they saw were just ordinary objects in the dark. Later, Walden collects leaves and waits patiently for the last leaf to fall off the Old Figgity-Fig Tree. Wubbzy and Widget would rather play in the leaf pile and when they return, Walden is asleep. As the wind takes away the last leaf, Wubbzy and Widget chase it all over Wuzzleburg.
