My9 In HD Becomes 22nd Programming Service Available To iO(R) Digital Cable Customers At No Additional Cost

BETHPAGE, N.Y. and NEW YORK, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cablevision Systems Corporation (NYSE:CVC) and WWOR-TV My9 announced today that the high-definition feed of WWOR-TV My9 is now available to iO: Interactive Optimum(R) digital cable customers across the New York metropolitan area. iO's 22nd high-definition programming service, My9 HD is located on channel 709. Cablevision is the only New York area provider to offer My9 in HD.

Cablevision customers are now able to view all WWOR Monday through Saturday prime time MyNetworkTV programs in high-definition. This includes the new dramas "Desire" and "Fashion House," starring Bo Derek and Morgan Fairchild.

Viewers will also be able to see Yankees baseball and other select My9 sports programming, including NFL/ESPN football games, in HD. NFL/ESPN football programming on WWOR includes the following games:

* Monday, 10/23/06 (8:30 p.m., EDT), Giants vs. Cowboys
* Monday, 11/20/06 (8:30 p.m., EST), Giants vs. Jaguars
* Monday, 12/25/06 (8:30 p.m., EST), Jets vs. Dolphins

iO customers with high-definition set-top boxes have access to the following high-definition programming services: WABC-TV New York, WCBS-TV New York, WNBC New York, WNET Thirteen (PBS), WWOR-TV My9, WNYW-TV FOX 5, WPIX (WB11), TNT, MSG Network, FSN New York, YES Network, ESPN, live coverage of New York Mets' home games through SportsNet New York, Universal HD, HBO, SHOWTIME, Cinemax, STARZ!, The Movie Channel, iN DEMAND'S INHD, INHD2 and the industry's first high-definition video on demand offering, featuring new release movies and unique titles originally seen in IMAX(R) theaters.

For iO customers with high-definition television sets, Cablevision offers HD-capable converter boxes at no additional cost over the standard box rental fee. High-definition feeds of premium movie networks are available to all customers who subscribe to the standard-definition version of the networks. High-definition video on demand movie titles are available anytime for $4.95 each, which includes full control over the viewing experience with the ability to pause, fast-forward and rewind.

With nearly 2.3 million iO customers, more than 73 percent of Cablevision's cable customers are iO digital cable customers, the highest digital penetration in the nation. iO offers customers access to more than 230 channels, including 50 premium movie channels, 45 channels of commercial- free digital music, more than 1,400 titles available on demand at all times, an interactive programming guide, 22 high-definition programming services and groundbreaking interactive television applications including subscription games packages.
