Most Americans Want Paychecks Processed in the U.S.
Most American workers do not want their paycheck to be processed overseas, fearing it would make them more vulnerable to identity theft, according to results from the American Payroll Association's 2006 "Getting Paid In America" online survey.
Sixty percent of American workers surveyed indicated it does not matter where their paychecks are processed, as long as the information is accurate. Yet 77 percent later indicated they would be unhappy if their company announced that their paychecks would soon be processed overseas. And further, if the payroll processing did move overseas, 84 percent of survey participants are not confident their private data would be properly protected.

Actor and comedian Martin Lawrence is set to executive produce the stand- up comedy series Martin Lawrence's 1st Amendment Stand-Up, as part of the first slate of original TV series for the company.
Also beginning production for Starz Entertainment channels are the provocative interview show The Bronx Bunny, and the original comedy series Head Case.
Martin Lawrence's 1st Amendment Stand-Up is an uncensored showcase for some of the freshest young comedians. Airing on Starz, beginning in the first quarter of 2007, the show will be co-produced and hosted by stand-up Doug Williams. It is co-produced and directed by Michael Bohusz with Mojo Raid LLC.
