Harris Corporation Inks Watershed Deal with British Sky Broadcasting
AMSTERDAM, Netherlands, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) today announced that British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB) has signed a contract with Harris Systems Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Harris Corporation, to implement the Harris(R) H-Class(TM) Airtime Sales system. H-Class(TM) Airtime Sales, an advanced, scalable solution for controlling, monitoring and executing complex advertising campaigns, is part of the H-Class(TM) suite of applications, which interoperate through the Harris(R) H-Class(TM) Content Delivery Platform.
Under the contract, Harris will provide a multichannel H-Class Airtime Sales system designed to enhance BSkyB's existing sales mechanism with the flexibility and scalability it needs to support its current and future business requirements. The Harris contract includes software licensing, support, facilities management, and the development and implementation of each stage of the project.
