In May 2005, the crew of WQED's On Q Magazine traveled to Poland to chronicle the March of the Living. The international program brings together thousands of people on Holocaust Remembrance Day, where they march from Auschwitz to Birkenau, former Nazi labor and death camps. The Pittsburgh-area teachers were invited to witness not only the horrors, but also stories of hope -- and to subsequently incorporate what they saw into their curriculums.
