The long wait for Clay Aiken fans is over. R-C-A Records will release the singer's third album, "A Thousand Different Ways" on September 19th. The project, Aiken's first outing since 2004, combines ten cover versions of well- known songs from the '70s, '80s and '90s with four brand-new songs. The album is a follow-up to Aiken's debut set, "Measure of a Man," which debuted at number one on the Billboard album chart and is certified triple- platinum, as well as the platinum-selling "Merry Christmas with Love," the best-selling holiday album of the 2004 season.

Station Crew to 'Kick It Up A Notch' With Chef Emeril Lagasse

The crew of the International Space Station will indulge next week in the ultimate "take-out" food, a meal delivered by a NASA space shuttle and designed by chef Emeril Lagasse, of the Food Network's "Emeril Live." After tasting several of Lagasse's creations, the three-person crew will talk to the award-winning chef at 1:30 p-m Eastern Time Thursday, August 10th in a special hookup carried live on NASA T-V.

Lagasse sent NASA some of his special recipes for potential use in space. After the required testing and processing, five different meals were selected. Emeril's Mardi Gras jambalaya, mashed potatoes with bacon, green beans with garlic, rice pudding and mixed fruit were delivered to the station aboard the shuttle Discovery in July.

African American Teen Unemployment Up 14% in July to Well Over Six Times National Average

Research Shows Defeated Minimum Wage Hike Would Have Made It Even Harder for Teens to Find Work

While the nation's unemployment rate increased slightly to 4.8%, the unemployment rate among African American teens jumped by 14% in the month of July to the shockingly high rate of 31.6%, according to the Labor Department's July jobs report. This high rate of unemployment would have only worsened had the Senate approved a hike in the federal minimum wage last Thursday, according to the Employment Policies Institute.
