'Priceless' in Stores Tuesday, October 17
NEW YORK, Aug. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Platinum-selling superstar and R&B sensation Frankie J returns to the spotlight with Priceless, his eagerly-awaited third solo English album, in stores Tuesday, October 17th.
A 12-track masterpiece showcasing the range of Frankie J's vocal and musical talents, Priceless delivers a mixture of sexy and harmonious ballads, beautifully balanced with mid- and up-tempo beats. Arguably Frankie's best work to-date, Priceless, seems destined to catapult this talented singer into the front ranks of today's most gifted entertainers.
Frankie J boasts writing credits for every song on Priceless while sharing co-songwriting and production chores with such award-winning hit makers as Mannie Fresh, Bryan Michael Cox, Play N Skillz, Happy Perez, Adonis and guest appearances by artists such as Chamillionaire, Slim from 112 and Bone Thugs & Harmony.
The first single from Priceless, "That Girl" (produced by Mannie Fresh and featuring Chamillionaire) is currently burning up the nation's charts as one of the most added singles on radio across the country.
Born into a musical family, Frankie J experienced his first major show business success as a member of the singing group The Kumbia Kings. Leaving the group in 2003 to pursue a solo career, Frankie J quickly made his mark with his first Top 10 single "Don't Wanna Try." He went on to chart with a number of other singles including #1 hits "Suga Suga," with Baby Bash in 2003, and 2005's "Obsession (No Es Amor)," and a string of Top 10 hits -- "How To Deal," and "More Than Words," and this year's smash, "Pensando En Ti," from his 2006 Spanish language release, Un Nueva Dia. Frankie J's last English-language album, 2005's The One, debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 and has gone on to achieve RIAA platinum status.
Frankie J is currently gearing up for the McDonalds LoMcXimo de la Musica concert series with Luis Fonsi, Nina Sky, Orishas, and Jeannie Ortega, which will kick off on August 30th in Phoenix, Arizona and hits 12 cities over the course of three weeks. Throughout the tour, Frankie J has made a personal commitment to support Hispanic higher education through the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Hispanic American Commitment to Educational Resources (RMHC/HACER) Scholarship Program.
