DALLAS and FORT WORTH, Texas, Aug. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- NBC 5 will call Frisco Square its Collin County home. The facility will include broadcast studios for NBC 5 and Telemundo 39, NBC Universal's Spanish-language station serving North Texas.

Similar to NBC's Today Show, the studio will provide pedestrian traffic with a live view of NBC 5 and Telemundo 39 newscasts through the bureau's storefront window. This gives the audience an exciting, behind-the-scenes look at NBC 5, Telemundo 39 and NBC Weather Plus.

This location will serve as NBC 5's third studio, which also has facilities in Dallas and Fort Worth. This studio will be located in the center of the development on Coleman Boulevard. The official opening of the studio will coincide with the grand opening of Frisco City Hall, scheduled for mid-September.
