Musicians Worldwide Raise Their Voices in Harmony for Humanity

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Jazz icon Herbie Hancock, rock legend Elton John, the late father of modern Nubian music, Hamza el Din, and classical violinist Ida Haendel are featured in a series of 30-second television public service announcements to promote Daniel Pearl World Music Days -- an international network of concerts scheduled from October 6-15.

Their video message to professional and amateur musicians around the world is a simple one: "Join us in using the universal language of music to diminish hatred, respect differences, and reach out in friendship by dedicating performances for "Harmony for Humanity."
