Jacobs Receives New Framework Contract From BBC

PASADENA, Calif., Aug. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that a subsidiary company received a 4-year framework contract from the BBC to provide a variety of structural and building services to support its operations throughout the United Kingdom.

Officials did not disclose the contract value.

Replacing the previous service provider, Jacobs will supply services to more than 100 BBC locations including broadcast production and support facilities, local radio stations, and customer-facing facilities. Jacobs will work closely with other consultants on the framework and with the facilities management supplier, Johnson Controls, to implement developments and improvements to BBC operations at a variety of locations.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Phil Stassi said, "We are excited to receive this prestigious contract with one of the world's leading broadcast organizations.
