Poll: More Women Opting for a Pet Than a Husband
A recently released online poll by DogCatRadio-dot-com, shows more women would rather have a pet than a husband. Of the more than one hundred thousand votes cast in a period of seven days, an overwhelming seventy-eight percent voted for a furry rather than a hairy companion.

Experian-Gallup Survey Shows Higher Gas Prices Are Causing Financial Hardship for Nearly Two in Three Lower-Income Consumers
Half of all consumers say higher gas prices this year compared with last year have caused them financial hardship, according to the Experian-Gallup Personal Credit Index survey for the second quarter of 2006. As might be expected, higher gas prices have had a disproportionately greater impact on lower-income households.
